From Memphis, TN Ashley Waldron began her career in the music business managing the day-to-day operations for David Lee Roth’s LA Management offices, Diamond Dave Enterprises, before moving on to contract administration for Vision International. In 1992, Waldron joined the West Coast office of The Zomba Group of Companies and was instrumental in the development and daily operations of the company’s premiere F/TV division encompassing music editorial, music supervision, composer representation, music libraries and music publishing/master recording licensing. After departing Zomba, Ashley served as Sr. Director of Music for Franchise Pictures. From 2002 until January 2009, Ashley established and oversaw the music department operations for the independent production company Millennium Films/NuImage Pictures as Executive in Charge of Music/Music Supervisor. During this time she managed a slate of 12 – 15 films per year, including major releases such as “Rambo”, “Righteous Kill”, “Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans”, “The Black Dahlia”, and “16 Blocks”. In 2009, Ashley was asked to head the LA office of SESAC one of three US Performing Rights Organizations. As Vice President of West Coast Operations/Film & TV, she was responsible for creating the strategy to re-brand the Los Angeles office, successfully elevating the profile of the boutique PRO within the F/TV Music community. Mid 2011, Ashley returned to Music and Film Production consulting with her company The Melody Works, LLC. Utilizing her knowledge of F/TV Music, PRO royalties and asset development, combined with strong creative and professional relationships, Ashley offers long term strategies for infrastructure operations, asset capitalization, brand development and creative music supervision to her past and current clients including Michael Eisner’s Vuguru, Popsugar and Emmett Furla Oasis Films. In 2015, Ashley was responsible for scouting and securing the Artist talent for 12 of 24 competing countries to record the Anthem for the 2015 Men’s Handball Championship. Each Artist was a star in their home country and the recordings were held over a 16 week period in 4 separate countries (France, Brazil, Qatar, Spain) and included shooting the accompanying music video and making of documentary.
