When we wrote about the most influential video game soundtracks, it was no surprise that Streets of Rage 2 made our list. It’s been 25 years since the last installment of the side-scrolling beat em’ up video game series hit consoles across the globe. And as we near the release of the fourth installment, it’s not just the return of the beloved characters and gameplay that has millions of fans excited.
Legendary video game music composers, Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima, who produced the soundtrack on the first three games, will be returning to lend their signature sound to Streets of Rage 4.
Joining them to form the dream team of video game composers will be Ninja Gaiden‘s Keiji Yamagishi, Jet Set Radio‘s Hideki Naganuma, and Kingdom Hearts‘ Yoko Shimomura.
